I ran my very first half marathon over the weekend. Although, my legs are still sore, it was a great experience and a challenging course. Having been training at sea-level and on a fairly flat route circling the Charles River, I was caught off guard by the continual grades of the Denver course. I came in with a goal of 1:30 for the 13.1 miles. My finish time was 1:32, so I was close in my prediction. After the race, was a lot of fun, hanging out with the crowd, watching runners, and eating free food.
