Nature's Playground: Boston Edition
August 20, 2010

As many of you know, I spent four wonderful years in the beautiful state of Colorado. Upon returning to my home territory of Boston, people often ask how I have adjusted my active lifestyle to the congested streets of Beantown. I just laugh and say that I have taken the Colorado "Natures Playground" attitude with me down to sea level. There is so much to do here that doesnt require a long drive and where you can find peace and harmony with nature. I have been exploring many of these beautiful reservations, soothing waters, and scenic paths over the last few months, as I have pushed the boundaries of city dwelling.

Here are some shots I took during a 17 mile ride I took including the scenery of Jamaica Pond and hills of Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain. I enjoyed a few laps up the inclines of Bussey and Peters Hills inside the Arboretum. Then I finished my workout with a good stretch down at a fantastic outdoor gym along the Charles by Boston University.
